Cortisone infiltration: 

A cortisone injection helps reduce inflammation (swelling) and provides pain relief. The effects of the injection should be felt within a week, depending on the injection location and underlying issue. Many people experience relief from inflammation and pain for weeks or even months after one injection. However, it is recommended to limit steroid injections to 3-4 times a year (every 3-4 months) to avoid potential cartilage damage. 

The expected duration of treatment is 2-3 months.

Hyaluronic acid infiltration: 

Viscosupplementation with intra-articular hyaluronic acid is a treatment option for knee osteoarthritis and other joint diseases. It aims to reduce pain and improve joint lubrication. Hyaluronic acid can enhance the synthesis of chondrocyte HA, protect cartilage from degradation, promote its regeneration, and reduce the production of proinflammatory mediators and matrix metalloproteinases involved in the development of osteoarthritis. 

The effects of this treatment can last for 6-8 months.

PRP infiltration- PRGF (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors):

Technology is an advanced autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma system used to stimulate and accelerate tissue healing and regeneration. It activates the patient’s own platelets to promote healing. 

The effects of PRGF treatment can last for 8-16 months.

N-Stride Autologous Protein Solution (APS):

N-Stride, also known as the “solution within,” utilizes proteins from your own body to improve the health of your knee. These proteins block the “bad” proteins responsible for inflammation in the knee joint and support the maintenance of healthier cartilage cushioning. 

The effects of N-Stride treatment can last for 24-48 months.

Intra-articular use of APS for mild to moderate knee OA was safe, and significant pain improvement was documented 3 years after a single injection. Patients with better cartilage status seem to respond better than patients with more cartilage loss, with more clinical improvement even when starting from more painful conditions.
